01The short version

This site sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for measuring you, and not for us. There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing here to consent to.

One thing is stored in your browser: your cart. It is kept in local storage rather than in a cookie, it never leaves your device on its own, and it is described in full below.

02The one thing we store

This is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for — a cart that survives a page reload — so it does not require consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive or the Portuguese law implementing it. It is also the only thing of its kind here.

You can remove it at any time by emptying the cart, or through your browser’s site data settings. Removing it loses your cart and nothing else.

03What we deliberately do not run

Some of these are normal on a store of this kind. We are listing them so that the absence is verifiable rather than implied.

• No analytics of any kind, first or third party.
• No advertising pixels, conversion tags or remarketing lists.
• No social media embeds, share buttons or like buttons.
• No session recording, heat mapping or scroll tracking.
• No A/B testing framework.
• No chat widget.
• No fingerprinting, and no attempt to identify a returning visitor.
• No fonts, scripts, stylesheets or images loaded from another company’s servers. Everything on this site is served from this site, which means no third party learns you were here.

You can confirm all of that in your browser’s network and storage panels, and we would encourage it. A claim about tracking is easy to make and easy to check.

04The two exceptions, and where they happen

Two things happen outside this site, and neither of them happens while you are reading it.

• The payment step. When you continue to payment you move to our payment service provider’s own secure page. That page is theirs, and it will use whatever storage it needs to process the payment securely. It is governed by their notice, shown to you there.
• Links out. The complaints book, the ODR platform and the authority websites we link to are operated by others. Following a link means arriving on their site, under their rules.

05If this ever changes

If we ever add something that stores or reads information on your device beyond the cart, this page changes first and a consent request appears before the thing runs — not after, and not with a pre-ticked box.
